Welcome to the official website of The Original Long Beach Lobster Festival. The 2010 Original Lobster Festival will be held September 11-12, at the Rainbow Lagoon in Long Beach, California. You won't want to miss this event.

The Original Lobster Festival has become a tradition to over thousands of festival goers annually. We combine local popular artists, Swing, Salsa, R&B/Motown, Decades 70s/80s Dance Bands, tons of Fresh Live Maine Lobsters steamed in the World’s Largest Cooker prepared and served by Bristol Farms Master Chef for that mouth watering taste, giant food court, children’s area, dance floor, two stages and beach bars to create the largest Lobster Festival outside of Maine, right here in Southern California.

Come for the Feast and Make a Day of it.

Live entertainment and activities for all ages, arts and crafts booths, Ribs, Chicken, Jamaican, Chinese, Thai and other international foods and desserts, adult beverages: Beer, Wine, Liquor drinks — “Screaming Lobster“ and Margaritas, and of course, LOBSTER. Lots and lots of Lobster flown in fresh daily.

C-CAP's Annual Heavy Medal Culinary Competition Sept 19

Two Valley chefs,

Francesco Roccato, InterContinental Montelucia Resort and Spa and Charles Kassels, El Chorro Lodge Restaurant,

will compete for Heavy Medal honors

Sunday, Sept. 19 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

at the Intercontinental Montelucia Resort and Spa,

4949 East Lincoln Drive in Paradise Valley .

Iron Chef America winner Beau MacMillan, executive chef at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort and Spa, will emcee the event, and three members of the audience will be selected to join celebrity judges in selecting the winning team.

This annual competition benefits the Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP), which provides scholarships to culinary arts students throughout Arizona .

Tickets are $175 per person and include a four-course dinner with expertly matched wines as well as the opportunity to see the two well-known chefs in action.

C-CAP students will assist in meal preparation and dinner service.

There is a $12.00 entry fee that includes a commemorative Sedona Winefest glass, and six tasting tickets

Gourmet food will be provided by Dahl and DiLuca and The Grille at ShadowRock at the Hilton Sedona Resort and Spa

Winemakers present at the event include Freitas Vineyard, Javelina Leap, Caduceus Cellars, Merkin Vineyards, Jerome Winery, Bitter Creek Winery, Page Springs Cellars, Arizona Stronghold, Alcantara, Pillsbury Wine Co., Oak Creek Vineyards, Juniper Well Ranch Vineyards, & Carlson Creek Vineyard

Attendees can enjoy music by ZAZU, Steve Douglas’ gypsy jazz trio on Saturday, and Soundscape Sedona, a popular trio featuring Susannah Martin on Sunday

TASTE. Chandler’s Culinary Festival is a gourmet food and wine tasting event that features Chandler’s finest. The idea and concepts have been created to showcase local businesses, local restaurants, benefiting local charities, and maintaining community involvement and outreach.
