Breads and art are also sold. Sunday, 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM An hour long train ride, departing from the Williams Depot for a journey to the "North Pole," where Santa boards the train. The ride features cookies, hot chocolate and a reading of The Polar Express.
When: Nov. 13-Jan. 9. Trains depart at 6:30 and 8 p.m. Where: Williams Depot, 233 N. Grand Canyon Blvd. Take Interstate 17 north to Flagstaff and Interstate 40 west to Williams, about 180 miles from central Phoenix. Admission: $29, $14 for ages 2-12. Other packages available which may include two adults and two children and include the Polar Express, a one-night stay at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel and breakfast and dinner at Max and Thelma's Restaurant. Experience 2.5 million lights and 500 custom-made sculptures at the Phoenix Zoo. The Komodo dragon is part of the celebration this year and activities include the Land of the Dragon exhibit, a dancing tree show, carousel and camel rides and horse-drawn wagon rides. Phoenix Zoo member nights are Nov. 23, 24 and 25.
